romantic café will be always be at very ulu locations? Totally inaccessible
without a car? Fret not! Enchanted Garden at V hotel is chill, romantic and
very conveniently located at the 4th floor of V Hotel. It is conveniently
located in the middle of the city, near Lavender MRT station J
At Enchanted, you have a choice between staying in the
air-con room or going alfresco. For us, we moved around hahha.
Here come the dishes!
Appetisers
Finger Food
Homemade Fish Finger ($7.8)- Prepared from real fish instead
of those frozen ready-made ones. Once again, this is real fish, as you can see
from the picture. Fish Finger is our favourite among the finger food. Besides
being fresh, it is also healthy since little flour was used except for breadcrumbs.
Cheesy pork ball ($9.8)- cheddar cheese. All the ladies say this is SUPER NICE with the cheese melting as soon we bit into it.

Isabelle, Akimoto, Yunzi and I went to taste Enchanted Café's new menu which was launched only in June
Atmosphere
Covered by all sorts of beautiful greenery, you can feel
the uplifting atmosphere of the garden the moment you turn the corner into the
cafe. Look at the photos! We were so mesmerised by the swing and the walkway to
the enclosure embraced by 2 rows of flowers. Imagine having a romantic date here....=P
As ladies in such a romantic environment, did we have
the willpower to resist taking lots of photos? Of course not hahhaha

Enchanted has a whole range of appetisers too. Pity that our stomachs had only enough room for two of them: Spicy TOP shell ($8.8) Spiced Crispy Anchovies ($8.8)

These appetiser dishes go well with beer. Even though we didn’t match it with beer, we managed to finish a whole plate of anchovies simply just by munching it over conversation. It was just such a tasty snack.
Main Dishes
Baby Back Rib ($18.8)- To prepare this dish, the chef had to spend one whole hour braising the baby back rib with herbs. With
the exception of Miso Cod this is my favourite.
Grilled Miso Cod Filling ($32)- The cod is marinated overnight with miso paste to ensure that the taste of miso sips into the fish. This is my favourite. In fact, OUR favourite. This is the big hit for us. Our favourite aspect of the dish: the
fish is prepared in such a way that eating it won't involve anything unglamorous
hahha

Lamb shank ($26.8)- Takes 2 hours to braise. Delicious
like everything else. I didn't get to taste this dish as I was too full by then. =(
Grilled Pork Chop ($18.8)- The pork chop is marinated overnight with a homemade sauce.
Unfortunately the chef refused to surrender his recipe. By the way, the portions are very generous. However, do note that it is best to eat
it while it is hot or the pork chop won’t be as tender.

Seafood Croquette ($12.8)- Potato, seafood. This is very filling so you might want to share it with a few good friends.

Spiced Korean wings ($12.8) – house spice and marinated overnight.
Despite the marination, Enchanted still provides a sweet and sour sauce as an
option for those who prefer stronger taste.
