Foot Reflexology Benefits – How A Foot Reflexology Center In Bishan Helped Me

Foot reflexology is not something new to appear in my blog. And yes it wasn't that long ago. Now you know how much i love massage apart from my yoga and food:)

Yi Zhen Foot reflexology is a little different from Samsara Wellness covered in my previous post.

This is a foot reflexology place and yes yes there's not much of a fancy ambience. It is pretty much a traditional Foot reflexology place located in the Bishan neighbourhood.

The massage therapists here are mostly from China where they specialise in deep tissue massage. 

But truth be told, the foot massage here is just as good.

I tried both =P

The style of massage here is a little traditional so the feet soaking is done with just warm water instead of the more fancy floral soaking.

And the foot massage begins!

The masseur who served me is William.

 It started off rather painful, which made me immediately request for gentler treatment. Thereafter, things got better and more comfortable.

40 minutes passed so quickly.....hahhaa. Now it's time for the body massage.

With the literally painful experience from the beginning of my foot massage, I was naturally apprehensive of the body massage. At the slightest hint of pain, I immediately asked the masseur to go lighter.

I've been getting very bad menstrual pain and a persistent feeling of bloatedness during my menses. So I used this chance to ask if there's massage to get rid of the wind in my stomach. And what do you know? The massage therapist told me, yes they could do it.

I tried it out immediately.

It felt really good.......

My muscles were much more relaxed after the massage. I felt a lot lighter too.

Here's a little secret I discovered....the essential oil used at Yi Zhen is produced in-house with a secret recipe from the lady boss. The lady boss herself is a certified essential oil therapist trained in the mixing of essential oil.

 I would definitely come back here again and yea once again, Yi Zhen offers giveaway too :)
